With good heat treatment, rings could reach hardness standard that could meet the requirement of slewing rings application.

Normally, 42CrMo4 hot rolled rings\' end use is slewing ring bearings, need the heat treatment:Q+T to reach agreed hardness. Some times CK45 seamless rolled ring is another choice, it is more cheap for the raw material.
